I've Seen

Outlandish feat. Sami Yusuf

I wish you were here
Here next to me
Been missing you so
So desperately
But lately I feel
Like you feel and
I see what you see
How I'm missing you

What happened to the ummah Once known so well...

I wish you were here
Here next to me
Been missing you so
So desperately
But lately I feel
Like you feel and
I see what you see
How I'm missing you

What happened to the ummah Once known so well
Greatness was known But now can u tell
Used to inspire others with our way of thinking and speech
People came from afar just to hear us teach
Yo what happened to the ummah Once known so well
Greatness was known But now can u tell
Mosques are empty, refrigerators are stocked
We lost our deen we feel secure
'Cause our mansions are locked
In my teen years salah wasn't really that tight
Now I gotta pray each one of them twice
What happened to the ummah Once known so well
Greatness was known But now can u tell
Brother we prefer light skinned women While righteously maintaining our deen against racism
What happened to the ummah Once known so well
Greatness was known But now can u tell

I wish you were here
Here next to me
Been missing you so
So desperately
But lately I feel
Like you feel and
I see what you see
How I'm missing you

What happened to the ummah once known so well
Greatness was known, but now can u tell
Kids in Africa are starving - can't afford to cry
I'll pay interest for a car I can't afford to buy
What happened to the ummah once known so well
Greatness was known, but now can u tell?
We used to smile at each other, with faces full of light
Now we frown at each other, we bicker and we fight
Pops in the mosque praying, kids in the streets hating
Kids on the corner selling, pops in the mosque preachin
'What happened to the ummah once known so well
Greatness was known but now can u tell?
The Quran has left out hearts stranded, hanging on out walls
6232verses, so strong
9 out of 10 of us can't even read or write
1924 feels distant like way before Christ

I wish you were here
Here next to me
Been missing you so
So desperately
But lately I feel
Like you feel and
I see what you see
How I'm missing you

What happened to the people How can it be
Greatness was known But now can you tell I've watched myself fall from grace
Even though life has been good, filled with hopes and dreams
I've asked forgiveness for my sins
I have the cross above my bed and the devil by my side
What happened to the people How can it be
Beauty was known But now can you tell
If I was to fall on my knees and ask you to forgive everything in anyone, out of Love, for the One,
oh oh oh... I've seen
And if u were to fall on ya knees and ask me the same
Brother, don't even think about it, lets just break out of the darkness of ignorance

I'm posting three old photos that are almost two months old now, which I should've posted like...twomonths ago. Anyway, it isn't much but it is sure to be valuable to us...erm...enough said, here goes anyway:

the babaman

the ex-fro mow

the beloved crowd. yes. you too ejat.

At first I thought my shots were okay but it turns out to be a bit blurrish. Sorry about that folks, I'll try to get some none-blurr-ish shots in the future...

And ooh yeah...these are the shots that I owed Babaman (may your skills of rooftoop modelling continue to inspire us)

The theme is: "Babaman; the conspiracy"

On top of that, this is my first attempt to play with slow shutter speed:

tips for the stressed

somebody said once that being optimistic is a revolutionary trait.
i'm just beginning to see the truth in that. it is a trait i see shared by all my best friends.
Optimism makes you look past the difficulties and straight into the joys of everyday life.

So you're not running from the bad, you're ignoring it.
It makes you clear headed and stress free.

i say, why think about all the bad things?? It's not like it will turn around if you continue brooding upon it......

So here's an advice.
Be optimistic and you'll lead a better life.
take it from the doctor.

The Fear In Our Hearts......

Haha..so you think..! But that's not that accurate. Even though the actual idea of Morse code and the communication using telegraph was first introduced by Samuel Morse, the real person that invented the Morse code was actually a man called Alfred Vail.

Samuel Morse was an art professor when he first introduced his idea of communication. Being a man in the art line, he invented his machine quite too complex and were too less effective. His first trial was in the gutter. Even so, Samuel Morse's idea of the telegraph attracted a young man called Alfred Vail. Even though Vail was 20 years younger than Morse, he managed to design and build a newer machine, a much more effective and simpler machine that could actually work.

The machine that was invented by Alfred Vail works miraculously, and they could now communicate between two people or more using the machines that were build by Vail.

But Alas, a massive problem occur. The machines now could work, but, they do not know how the message could be delivered; in what formed? Words by words? or codes?

Morse than came up with the idea of transmitting the message in numerical forms. For example, "307" is the code for the word "Victory", or "255" is the code for the word "eat" and so on. And so, Morse actually designed many numerical codes for every single words in the dictionary. Now the thing is, imagine you received a telegraph using this system, and you have to go through thousands of pages of numerical codes just to understand a single sentence of the message. That would take up hours.

And so, Alfred Vail came up with a better idea, that is using codes of dotes and lines on each an every single of the alphabets. Using this system, Vail and Morse could now spell the message with words by words, instead of memorizing thousands of numerical codes. This method, as how we see today will not only saves time, but also ensuring the accurate understanding of the messages that were send.

The question now is, why is that Samuel Morse got all the credits while Alfred Vail, who is the real inventor of the Morse code, was left unheard?

All for one and "satu ntuk semuah"

hey there...
all of you...
a piece of advice..
you wanna get a lot of posts,
stop giving ridiculous comments..

i like seeing you guys like this....
young , immature, and full of hopes...
stay that way....
i myself had a few friends...
lost them all on the account of stupidity....
so cherish them and maintain this sweet friendship...
it's so rare nowadays....

i tolerated a lot of taunts and laughter from my peers....
4 of us, buddies since high school. then one day i couldn't take it anymore. pressure was overwhelming. the nine years of friendship gone... each one of us still missed it... but there was no way to go back and undo the damage... ego and pride consumed us....
i want to say that i am not just a victim, i am also the criminal. what they did to me i also did to them.

so forgive silly mistakes and forget their crimes.... all of you must indeed mean a lot to the rest because of the jokes, the falls, the laughs and the fights. you have shown that time is not an obstacle to you..

but is reality??
you are all growing up....
going your separate ways.....
but be there for each other.
take time for this.....
u might lose them easier than how you got them....

ill be watching
Keep me amused guys.......

Hello just for awhile.

Sorry for the really long absence. I think were all been busy this past months. I know i am, in fact im still busy. So, this post is just to let u readers out there know that were still operating, just in a very sloooooow pace. so we apologise to readers out there.

So, When we think about it, is this a new form of gossip for youngsters?
semoga persahabatan anda berkekalan.

Sad No More

Come this December, all you sad girls and aunties will be cheering your buttocks out because a new drama series is out baby!

This story that is based on a short story(cerpen) will certainly move all us girls into tears and also make us roll on the floor. Set on present day time, our charming boys are just normal students finding their way in life. Not knowing each other at first, they hung out in different clicks, but fate brought them together when a dog(Kapur) was seen hit by an old homeless man. They rushed helping the dog, forgetting their clicks or differences, in irony, they were all muslims. After being saviors for Kapur they decided to get a drink, as they sit on top of a rooftop, they made deal to record every single detail of their lives, either videos, photos, or writing as they figured that life's too short..

This is an interesting story as it is a laid back one. No hardcore action scenes or overdramatic crying scenes, just the right one to let us relax on the sofa with friends. the actors for this story had been narrowed down and here they are! oh and i like the fact that kapur doesnt hang out with them but seems to be around in the scenes somewhere.. ok pics.

These were shot during an interview at a gallery/cafe, Cafeart at Bangsar.
they're really down to earth people!

From top to bottom: Johan Halim(as Chong), Mohd. Ezzat Asyiq(as Ben), Wan Muhd. Nazir(as Bobo), Muhd. Arma Hakem(as Kim).

I was told that during the interview, they cracked a lot of jokes, Jijo my friend who was interviewing them couldnt stop laughing, and it made her work hard!
Anyways i anticipating for the debut of this series i feel it is going to be awesome.

Why Did you have to goo Oooh Away From Mee Ehh~

This is part-ii (hihihihi), now u guys can already figure out what im gona show u at the end of this post.

what? apa clue dia anda tanya?

ok we continue with.. "what do you do when ur bored after ur ex-school sportsday?"
for all those fanatic readers of our modest blog, surely you gus have read the previous post.. no not the one on jannah, but the one on sportsday. (btw neither both of the guys in the picture is jannah, jannah is way more annoying looking.)

So me in Ali went to Subang Parade.

this is what WE did.

so we went around taking pictures at this car show. Ali insisted that i should i take a picture of HIM standing between 2 chinese models. i insisted we should NOT.
So after that exhilirating photoshoot, we felt so energized that we need some more paparazi action connection.

oh and yah.. before i forget. this is what we shot before the mini auto show.
brace yourselves.

yes Beautiful Girls its Sean Kingston. We waited for 1 Freakin hour just to get this, and were not even close to calling ourselves FANS.
yes WE INSTANT PAPARAZIS followed Adek Kingston around. Well turns out Adek doesnt seem so adek-ish in person. He is Big. Dont be fooled. So after taking his pictures, he saw us, then we shook hands and talked like for 20 minutes or so. He told us that he's gona get a bite at baskins and askd us to join, so what the heck kan? we went to baskins after his autograph session. We had loads of fun. Here are some pics of us having fun at baskins with Sean.

so i guess thats enough for today.
next week me and arab boy would be havin lunch with Bow Wow and Omarion.
theres plenty more to come in this coming weeks.

signing off.

From the slumps,
Sexy Champs
